Date Nut Bread


Preaheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan. In medium bowl, combine dates and butter. Pour boiling water over, and let stand till cool.

When cool, stir to break up clumps. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir into date mixture until just blended. Pour into pan.

Bake 50 minutes at 350º

OOPS! Too Much Salt!

If you accidently over-salt a recipe while its still cooking, add in a peeled potato to help absorb some of the excess salt. ... more hints & tips
